Save the Date – Philadelphia “Food for Thought” Event

AFTD proudly launches its first-ever “Food for Thought” awareness campaign from September 29 – October 6, 2013.  To cap off the week of grassroots events held across the country to raise awareness of FTD, AFTD will host a culminating event in Radnor, PA at Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen on Friday, October 11.  Click here for to view the Save the Date flyer.

May 19 – AFTD Staff and Friends Walking the Walk

Staff and friends of AFTD will participate in a 10-mile run or 5K walk/run in King of Prussia, PA on Sunday, May 11 to benefit AFTD’s mission.

Cocktails for a Cause in NYC – May 11, 2013

Members of the Leifer family will host a “Cocktails for a Cause” fundraiser benefitting AFTD on May 11, 2013 at EVR Lounge in New York City.  Tara Leifer’s father recently passed away from FTD.

6th Annual Quest for the Cure Golf Outing – September 16, 2013

AFTD Board Member Beth Walter will host the Walter Family Foundation’s 6th Annual “Quest for the Cure” Golf Tournament on September 16, 2013 at the Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, CA.  To register or for complete details, check out the event brochure.  This event fills up quickly each year.

Memory Lanes: Bowling to Strike Out Pick’s Disease

July 21, 2013 – Casey Greemore and Nicholas Krapelin will host a bowling event at Merrimack Ten Pin in Merrimack, NH on July 21 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to benefit AFTD.  Casey’s mom, Lenora, was diagnosed with FTD in 2012.  Contact Casey to sign up or for more information at cgreemore25@gmail.com.
